Student academic study support (SASS)
What is SASS?
The Student Academic Study Support (SASS) team is made up of students who have recently excelled in core Criminology courses. The SASS team will provide academic support throughout the semester and help Criminology students transition into university.
SASS will be present in core criminology courses throughout the year to encourage involvement and to help students understand the basics of completing Criminology assessment. SASS will also be running sessions outside of classes that will aim to assist students in improving their referencing and researching skills. There will also be fortnightly zoom drop-in sessions that will cover topics that students want to learn about relating to university. Ultimately, SASS is here to help students develop the skills necessary to excel in their degree and to be the support and friendly faces they need during the semester.
SASS will be assisting in the following courses in 2021:
Semester 1: CRIM1111
Semester 2: CRIM1000; LAWS1110
Please do not hesitate to contact SASS at SASSteamuq@gmail.com
